My mother was having fever and runny nose since yesterday.she has taken two paracetamol tablets one at 11 am and another at 8 pm after a rise in temperature of 99.5.Now though there is no fever but she is still experiencing runny nose.Should she take antibiotics now?
She is also having her due date for covishield second dose vaccine.I just want to know whether she can take vaccine in 2-3 days or if not when it is safe for her to take the vaccine? If she takes antibiotics is it safe for her to take vaccine after that?

She should take steam thrice a day, eat healthy food, she can take montair LC twice a day, once after breakfast and once before going to bed. In my opinion you might want to postpone her second dose until she feels better. Zinc 50 mg one per day and vitamin 1000mg one per day will also be helpful. If you still remain concerned please consult a doctor.
