Fever and crp level is 27.20
My son is suffering from fever(102f) since 3 days. We had done the blood test and got crp positive(27.20). We are giving him medicines but fever didnt go down. How many days will it take for complete recovery. Please suggest me other medication.

It takes 3-5 days for the temperature to completely come down
Continue giving paracetamol 8th hrly,cold sponging and proper hydration
You can do repeat CRP
If still then CRP is elevated and fever doesn’t come down then consult the doctor and do appropriate tests.

3 to 4 days with proper medicine the child should recover
after that take a follow up if not improving

As CRP is high and child is running fever, mostly he is having infection.Once get examined with the Pediatrician.
Continue Giving paracetamol
Give more liquids.
