Fetal echo scan with gdm
I am 27 weeks pregnant now and I have fetal echo scan at 29 weeks. I have gdm though sugar levels are in control. Had done my blood test two days back, which are like 89 in fasting and 98 in post lunch. Currently I am on 22 units of insulin taking before bed. Do still I have to go through fetal echo scan? I am bit worried abt that. This is my first pregnancy and I am 28 years old. My weight before pregnancy is 59kg and now it is 71.8kg.

Yeah you should undergo Fetal anomaly scan. It is not mandatory but should be done to diagnose some problems before hand. If your GDM is well controlled as your readings suggest, don't worry about the scan. Keep regularly doing RBS tests at home by glucometer as dose of Insulin will increase throughout pregnancy.
