Ferium 1k how it is given intravenous.
Patient clo weakness from past 1 month ...all test has been done including brain ct and mri but no abnormality detected. But she is anemic with 9.5 of hb . So suggested ferium 1 k is to injected...how it is injected...is it in 100 ml ns or 250 or 500 ns ...pls give suggestions on this.

Don't take it by your self or by any untrained person. Diluted ferum 1 k in 250 mL of normal saline and then give 25-mg test dose from the diluted solution. After a 10- to 15-minute observation period, if no infusion reactions are observed, the remaining solution is infused over the balance of an hour. Take as prescribed by your treating physician.
