Feral cat bite
I was recently bitten by a feral cat. I have no reason to believe he has rabies, but I figure it's best to be safe. I'm not going to have him killed and tested, but I'd rather not get a bunch of shots if I don't have to either. I saw an episode of House where one of the doctors was bitten, and when stabbed with a needle he couldn't feel it. Would poking at the skin around the bite be an accurate testing method? If not, would waiting ten days to see if the cat is still alive be too long for me?

You will have to take Rabies vaccination,if there is wound with bleeding. If wound is severe, you will have to take immunoglobulins also..Alternatively wait for 10 days as you said
