Feeling mentally exhausted quite often
I'm preparing for my admission test but I find myself feeling exhausted quite often which makes me unable to concentrate at all times. Also I'm not able to sleep, post,1 or 2 at night, for few weeks. Also I've been through a depressive phase for about year though had not consulted a doctor. On sharing it wth one of my teachers I was told that I could have hormonal imbalances. Are all these problems related? please help. What is the actual problem?

Hello, I can understand your problem. Yes these problems are related. These symptoms suggest depression. Depression can affect anyone and you can overcome it completely. This is a phase and it will go. Depression symptoms include feeling low all the time, loss of interest in previous pleasurable activity, feeling lonely, low in energy, hopeless, helpless, worthless feeling and sometime even suicidal ideas. You can have any of them or all of them.
Next Steps
Consult a nearby psychiatric clinic. Go for blood test like Thyroid function test and serum B12 levels.
Health Tips
Make sure you are not alone try to be with someone close to you, share your thoughts, sleep for adequate time, have healthy meals on time, involve in activities you used to enjoy earlier.
