Regarding your goals, write down the same and set a deadline, break each goals to sub-goals  (Long term goals to be broken  in short term goals stage wise), which will help you to accomplish your goals comfortably.  Set priorities to each goal to determine which is important and urgent and executive one thing at a time. Why do you want to compare yourself with cousins. Do an introspection to identify your skills, strengths etc and also list out limitations.  Work on those limitations and move them towards strengths. Be focused on your task and not getting demotivated looking at or comparing with cousins (not worth ). Friends are only social connects and there is no need to trust or go overboard with them, unless you are fully confident about the sincerity of friendship.  Avoid materialistic give and takes  (borrowing or lending money, bike,  books, clothes etc). This will create more expectations that could lead to breaking friendship.  Focus on your life by concentrating on academics,  career,  fitness, passion etc. Consult a Counsellor for professional help,  if required.
