Feeding baby
Hi, I have delivered a baby through c-sec a week ago. The baby was delivered in 35 weeks. Now whenever he drinks breast milk, he gets to have hiccups after every feed. And then he urges for more milk.. And by the time he urges for more, my breast could not get enough milk... Can i feed him with powdered milk through bottle or spoon

My answer is NO NO NO.once you start on bottle breast does not get stimulus for more milk production. To start with,  always start with alternative breast to enforce complete emptying of breast. Hygiene is very important Follow immunization

Hello. Top milk is a strict No for baby when you have your breastmilk for her/him. Continue your breastfeeding as it is best milk for your baby and give it every 2nd hourly. The more the baby latch and suck on your breast, the more will it stimulate your milk production. Give your feed atleast for 30-45 min . Burp your baby after each feed atleast for 8-10min for hiccups.
Next Steps
get a lactation consultant advice if not satisfied with your breastfeeding.

Hiccups are more common in the first year Continue exclusive breast feeding till 6 months as long as the baby is gaining weight adequately and voiding urine 6 to 8 times per day
