I had consulted 2 ENTs and they said it's rare so I shouldn't think much about it. Unfortunately I hadn't changed the filters or RO membrane of my Kent RO for 2 years 5 months now. The light still shows green but water flow is lesser.
I used that water to wash my face yesterday. I had pressed my nose when washing face but when I released my nose, blowing and wiping my nose and face, I felt wetness in nose. I am very scared that if some water drops went in, as water may not have been so effectively filtered, could I get N Fowleri infection?
How far up the nose the water has to go to cause an infection or risk for same. Can a few drops going in nose, can breathing in a few drops of water cause infection or water has to be forced up like deliberately sucking or snorting up water with force, which I didn't do to get infected.
Please please dear doctors answer and those asking for physical consultation only, kindly skip question. I felt so anxious that I had to take anti anxiety pills.
