Fear of falling
My mother is 77 years old, a cancer survivor. She has increasing confusion, difficulty initiating eating, and recent episodes of saying "I'm going to fall" followed by whole-body shivering, though she remains conscious and recognizes me. She fell in March and has severe left arm pain with restricted movement. She is on neurological treatment and physiotherapy. Two MRI brain scans (December and March) were reported as normal. She is currently not fit to travel. What should be the next step?
