Fear of driving
I use to ride a bicycle in my childhood from the age of 8-9. And I always have a fear of falling down from the bicycle. Sometimes it's like the vehicle is not in my control. And I stopped riding it to school. So I have just used it for few months upto age of 14. Now I am 22 years old. I started to practice a scooty. Still I am having the same problem. Because of the fear I stopped practising and always depend on others to get me to the place I need to go. I hate to be dependent. I need a solution for this problem. I am capable to balance the vehicle. But don't have confidence to drive in a traffic.

Hey, Fear is a natural reaction to certain bad experiences or something unknown/uncertain in our way. With some people, extent of fear could be more and with some, less. Some could have fears related to people and some with situations. Your fear is with the capacity of 2 wheeler to hold you safely and proficiency level of you to drive it safely in traffic. Now let's leave your scooty & bicycle alone and go back to the time when you started to walk. I am sure you don't remember it now however you would have been like every other child who learns to walk after learning to crawl, sit & stand. Do you think it's easy for the child to trust herself that she would be balancing all her weight on her two tiny feet..?? Not really. She is scared to death but she doesn't hesitate to put in efforts to walk so that she can explore independently. It's just because you trusted your feet as well as balancing that you are walking freely now. Do you ever feel like you might fall..?? You don't. Your scooty and it's wheels are your own extension when you ride. You won't fall once you are able to ride with little more confidence. Think about this for a day and once you are ready, take out your scooty and ride in your area until your heart says it's confident. Then take it into little more traffic and so on. Do not quit till you succeed. I am sure your machine is going to eventually fly, with it's stronger wheels if you are running now, on your tender feet. Happy independence.
