FBS is low but Post meal is spike

Question

Asked for Male, 38 Years

I am taking Glycomet SR 500 twice a day after breakfast and dinner and my FBS is between 108 - 115, pre lunch and pre dinner also tend to be below 120. However, post lunch and post dinner it spikes when taken after 2 hours. I have had reaadings of 228 and 212 for my last dinner and lunch.

Usually after food sugars spike is associated with high carbs diet. So try to maintain ur diet by having more of pulses grams and veggies. If still high can start on one more tablet to counter the post meal sugars.
