Fasting Sugar high
I am 65 year old and diabetic since Last 15 years. My fasting sugar is ok if i test immediate after awaking (8 to 9 hrs. fasting) After doing some little work it goes up to 150. If I take rest only it is normal even in 10, 11 or 12 hrs. fasting also. After brekfast, lunch & dinner it is normal. I am taking Dynaglipt M in night before dinner and Glimestar PM 1 in morning before breakfast. I am suffering from high thyroid, enlarged prostate due to which there is slow and disturbed urination. For thyroid taking Thyronorm 75 MCG and for prostate Temsunol D each 1tab daily. My Hemoglobin is in lower side. On 21.02.2020 Hemoglobin was 8.7(in Dec'19 it was 9.3), Iron 21, Fasting glucose 151, PP 212 ( now controlled), HBA1C 6.7 (in Nov'19 it was 7.4), Vitamin B12 178, TSH 0.276 (in Dec'19 it was 13.05 and in Nov'19 it was 17.92), T4 11, T3 127.68 and Uric Acid 8.7.

Hello for your age Hb1Ac of 6. 7 is  good control... Don't worry... Fasting and PP sugar targets are below 140 and below 200 is fine... Just do some diet modifications.. If not controlled with that may  need to modify your prescription little bit..!! Your recent TSH 0.276 is slightly suppressed.. Need to decrease your dose slightly... U better consult endocrinologist for your overall management.. U can do it online nowadays
