I have got my first dose of vaccination my 2nd dose is due around 7th of August, incase I conceive during this time period and my 2nd vaccination approaches in between, is that okay to go for the vaccination because post taking the 1st dose I had high fever if the same happens during my pregnancy is that going to be harmful for baby?

Hello good morning , as per FOGSI guidelines covid vaccination recommend in pregnant and lactating mother but it’s completely mothers choice . And it’s better to follow up with your Gynaecologist and Physician so that if at all any side effects it can be handled . Thank u

The COVID vaccine has not been found to be dangerous to pregnant women yet and countries have been advising pregnant women to get it.
Being a new vaccine, we still don’t have enough studies in place either.
It would be safest to try and not concieve until after 28 days of your second dose.
That said, if you re pregnant, please don’t worry at all.
