Facial and body hair

Asked for Female, 17 Years

Till the age of 13 I had no body hair. And since then I have had facial and body hair which is quite concerning me. I am 17. My father’s side does not have any problem such as body hair but my mother has light hair on her back. Is my problem due to puberty or is there something else ?
