In September 2021 i go for eye chk up of my son, he diagnosed with myopic astigmatism -2.25 cylinder , axis 180 °.
He become 3 yrs old on 8 nov 2021.
I go for eye chk up again on 01 march 2022, now number appears cylinder +2.25 , axis 90° .
My question is that it is possible to have number changes from - to plus in few months.
Or is there any problem in diagnosing.

In children, drops have to be used for 3 days,ie cycloplegic drug,and then Refraction to be done.Hence pl take a second opinion.

It is unlikely that the number changed so quickly from minus to plus. Children have high accomodative capacity, which in simple language means their manifest number can change if they use their strong eye muscles. So basically, for a proper number checkup, it's essential to have a dilated/cycloplegic refraction done by an eye-specialist.
