Eye stye on lower lid
I developed a stye on my lower eye lid today morning. It happened probably because of dirt work I did yesterday without taking precautions. Its paining. Please suggest ointment, eye drop and antibiotic.

Need Oral antibiotics ,oral painkillers ,with topical antibiotics n  hot compression

Please contact your local doctor as these are prescription medicines. Oral antibiotics are required in such infections. Rule out diabetes mellitus as well. Good hand hygiene and good local hygiene are a must to avoid such infections

A red, painful swelling near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple is a characteristic feature of stye. It develops from small glands of eyelid. It is self resolving within few days. The most effective treatment is dry hot fomentation. Warm comress or  warm washcloth applied to the eyelid may relieve pain and discomfort. You can take any anti-inflammatory tablet after meals. Avoid rubbing maintain hygeine.

You need oral and topical antibiotics. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
