I have floaters problem for 1yr. And I am taking anti epileptic drug since 11yrs. Last attack is on 2009. My problem now is that when I woke up after sleeping and look the wall directly then I used to see nerves images, (like the image of human brain), images of cells (like many black lines ) on the wall for 1sec then it's vanishes. I am very nervous by seeing this.
Why this happens? What will i do now? Is it harmful for me? Please advise.

Hello
Your symptoms are suggestive of floaters
These are benign and don't need treatment
Only way to get rid of them is to avoid them
Having said that it is provisional diagnosis
Kindly consult local ophthalmologist and get proper retina examination done

Hi,
What you are seeing are flashes and floaters.
Please consult a retina specialist who would examine you in detail to screen you for associated risk factors like PVD, lattices or holes and RD.
Based on the finding, you would be advised accordingly. Do not stress till then.
