Hi Doctor, I'm just wondering at what age will eyesight starts to stabilize? And is there any reason why my eyesight keeps on getting worse everyday even though I already take care of my eyes properly? And, can genetics be one of the reason of why eyesight keeps on getting worse?

The power stabilises by around 18 years of age generally. It remains relatively unchanged between 18 and 45 years of age. The genetics of inheritance is polygenic as many genes are involved in the different eye structures.. Relax and undertake an annual eye check up. Best of luck.

The eye sight will stabilise between 18 to 22,years.Genitic roll is also present
Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
