A year back I discovered that my eyes cannot focus on a object for a long time. It causes strain in my eyes because I have slight squint in my eyes due to which I was having head ache. Now from last 2-3 days I have pain in my left eye. Whenever I shake my head my left eye pains. Is it because of that squint problem or some other reason ?

I would advise you to consult eye hospital where there is well equipped orthoptics department because after orthoptics check up it will decided whether it will recover with exercise or it will need surgery.

Hello..
Well I would suggest you to meet an ophthalmologist in person as without adequate examination I cannot come to conclusion of what it is and the strain might be due to the refractive error...Thank you
