Eye pressure
Vaibhav mittal sir, Today I went for retina checkup so that time they dilated my eyes to check retina and then I insisted them to check eye pressure as well so they measured on machine but not on tonometer and it was 23 for both eyes. Is this normal that aftee dilation of eyes presure on eyes goes beyond 20.
What should I do now? Please help me. please

A. IOP alone is insufficient to comment anything
B. 23mm is borderline high IOP but we need to adjust for corneal thickness... Get pachymetry done to see corneal thickness and we will then calculate the correct pressure
C. Visual field or Perimetry is best test to detect glaucoma... Ganglion cell thickness on OCT gives idea of early glaucoma
D. Diurnal variation in IoP should be checked
For all these I would recommend you to consult local glaucoma specialist
