Eye pain and redness
Toilet cleaner went into my eyes,when I was cleaning bathroom.my eye is paining and has become red..which eye drops can be used?

Wash your eyes with freshwater frequently and put lubricant eye drops e.g. teardrop 2to3 times. Do cold compresses. If the redness and pain persists for more than 6to12 hrs then please consult an ophthalmologist nearby.

Frequent splashing of tap water can be done. Tear drops can be used frequently - every 15 minutes . See your nearest eye doctor if symptoms persist. Maskati Eye Clinic Opposite Charni road station east, Mumbai

Tollet cleaning chemicals are highly corrosive in nature.
Immediately wash eyes in running water and use only lubricating eye drops for symptomatic relief. you may need a slit lamp examination to rule out erosion of eye surface tissues if smarting and watering persist.
