Eye lid swelling noticed
Friday morning i noticed my left eye swelling, but i dont find pain at that time. But yesterday and today i feel little irritation. As my mother suggested it might be due to heat and applied custard oil. After that my swelling has slightly reduced, still there's some irritation. Kindly advice what i need to do.

Hello ...this is infection in lid...do warm compresses....take local and systemic antibiotic ....if persists consult local ophtgalmologist

Hello, A swollen eyelid occurs when there is inflammation or excess fluid (edema) in the connective tissues surrounding the eye. Eye allergies occur when your immune system overreacts to a foreign substance, called an allergen. Injury to eye lid , bacterial infection infection can also cause swelling . If swelling subsides don't worry ,if problem persists consult opthalmologist.
