All of sudden there is an itching with eye lids and if i rub eye turns into blood red with watery eyes. I am using itone eye drops. Will this help me reduce infection or do I need to switch to another medicine?

Hi, Itch eyes with redness of recent onset can be because of recent onset of infection called acute conjunctivitis.

Next Steps

What you need is an antibiotic eye drops such as Ciprofloxacin eye drops or Moxifloxacin eye drops. Use them 2 drops, 3 times/day for 1 week.

In case if the itching or redness increases, i suggest you to visit an ophthalmologist.
