Generally when oil is removed, the eye is filled with air, which takes one to two weeks to fully go away Having said so, small floaters do generally persist and never fully go away, but the brain slowly gets accustomed to these floaters and you stop getting bothered by them. So give your eyes time to get used to this. For further doubts, kindly get an online consultation to address all your concerns
