Bitter taste could be due to the eye drops. Ask her to put only one drop at a time and then close the eye for 4-5 minutes. If she does not close the eye after putting the eye drops, it will give her bitter taste because the eye drop passes through the nasal passages --- into the mouth. Yellow colour of urine cannot be due to eye drops. You have to consult your doctor for that. May be she has been given a multivitamin which will cause yellow urine (which is normal)

Bitter taste can be due to eye drop trickling into the mouth. Nothing to worry.
