Eye blinking since two months

Asked for Female, 70 Years

My grandmother is 70 years old. Physically fit and fine this problem started few months ago . Blinking of left eye. Some doctor suggested for botox injection. Every six month. Can I know about it in detail.

Is she complaining herself or is it your own observation? If it is a painful spasm like closure of the lids or a continuous fluttering annoying and causing discomfort/pain/profuse watering etc Botox may be considered. If it is only blinking lubricant drops only may help! Rule out a foreign body under the lid as well!!
