I'm into heavy strength training. Is it appropriate for females, does is cause any body or hormone changes? Also is it okay to continue training during period? Please advise. Thanks.

Hello..... Strenuous exercise affects body metabolism of hormones so it may affect your period... Periods may become irregular ..many athletes involve themselves in rigorous training.. During periods, the level of discomfort/uneasiness felt differs from one woman to the other, so you should work out to a manageable extent.
