Excessive fear of rabies
My mom got bitten by our pet dog 20 days ago and as the wound was bleeding she took immunoglobulin and ARV. Our dog is Vaccinatinted yearly and he is 2.5yr old. The very next day as I was playing with him I got a scratch and usually this happens every time. But this time i dont know as I researched too much about rabies , it got scared. I didn't took any vaccine and the incident happened 18-19 days ago. Our dog is healthy and fine. But now it's like I'm always scared. Reading the symptoms of rabies arouse my fear towards the disease and everyday I get a scratch from our dog without any bleeding but just the area get red after it disappear when I was with soap. Iam scared already iam phobic to deadly disease and i have anxiety and i take tablet for the same. Now I feel like lump in a throat and unable to sleep and in distress. What should I do? I read a lot about rabies death now a days i google a lot and this is making my extra feared and iam unable to control my anxiety.
