Excessive bleeding from surgery
How common is it to have excessive bleeding following sinus and septoplasty surgery? Just seen a video whereby a patient was giving a clotting drug and then had to have clots sucked from his throat. Is this standard or unusual?

Excessive bleeding does happen only if patient has bleeding disorder or taking anti coagulant drug.

Usually does not have excessive bleeding unless patient has some bleeding disorder Videos show magnified view, so will appear as clots and excessive bleeding

Any surgical procedure causes some amount of blood loss. Amount of bleeding depends on the disease and patient 's general conditions.
