My mother underwent cranioplasty surgery in September 2020 and cranioplasty surgery in March 2022. In August 2023, she started having epileptic seizures. Seizures were coming for 14 days. The seizures stopped after 14 days due to the pills. She has been seizure free since 3 months. Currently she is on tab 1.sodium volproate 1gm bd 2.tab oxcarbazepine 300mg-450mg 3 tab clobazam 5mg hs 4.tab folic acid 5mg od 5 tab shelc 6 tab multivitamin od. The doctor has told to continue these pills. Is this correct? Will it have any side effects? Does she stay asleep longer since starting the pills? Should the pill dose be reduced?
