EPILEPSY & CONTRACEPTION
I am epileptic patient since birth. I am taking these medicines at night daily : LEVERA XR 750, LEVERA XR 500, CENSPRAM 10 mg, CLONOTRIL 0.5mg Would it be safe and effective to consume contraceptive pills as I have heard that contraceptive method is ineffective for epileptic patient.

You can take high dose of oral contraception rather than low dose ocp Or would suggest u to use iucd or condom The metabolism of oral hormones is increased in cases of taking epileptic drugs which might decrease their efficacy and cause more failure rates
