Epigastric burn pain excessive flatulenc
Myself mbbs doctor passed out in 2023 I'm facing stomach issues since 5-7 yrs consulted many gastros but no use .. the only thing which helps me is metronidazole after taking it I feel my bowel completely emptys i feel refreshed pain burn evrything disappears, otherwise bloating gas discomfort evrything will be there.Any doc can help me out and can anyone explain why flagyl is helpig me??? So many gastros say flagyl is of no use

Lil buddy you are most probably eating outside food every now and then. Your long history for 7 years and help from metronidazole is highly suggesting h.pylori infection.
I wonder pantop /omez didn't help with your problem
Also how long have you been taking metro? 7 yrs? Isn't that too much. Metro is not wonder drug any antibiotic kills our good bacteria also.. have curd in meals or go for probiotics whatever you prefer .

just get h. pylori eradication empherical treatment and avoid outside food for atleast 6 months.. let's see if some progress is seen with that.

Hi. You mentioned as experiencing stomach issues which is incomplete to understand what type of complaints you have other than the bloating sensation of abdomen.
The detailed history is required about your diet , lifestyle etc are important to understand what could be the reason for such issues. Just treating infection repeatedly with metronidazole will not help. It may cause adverse effects on vital organs.
