Hello. A complete blood count(CBC) determines the value of platelets in the blood. Other tests like tests for blood clotting time and bleeding time. , blood smear, bone marrow biopsy are recommended ITP or idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura as the name suggest is auto immune disorder of the platelets .
