Is Arip mt 10 mg affect the dopamine? Please tell me the side effects. My prolactin level is high (118) due to espazine as per doctor's diagnosed. So that she suggested arip mt 10 mg.Has arip mt 10 mg more side effects than espazine?

Hello dear,
It seems that your psychiatrist is correct in the change of medication. Aripiprazole (Arip- MT) has free side effects than the previous drug, including lower propensity to raise prolactin.. Please have trust in your doctor and discuss all apprehensions with your doctor in face to face session.. He/she will be the best person to guide you. However please maintain regular follow up and monitoring during and after change of medication..
