The possible causes of swelling in head of pancreas in a pt with chronic pancreatitis are 1. Exacerbation of pancreatitis
2. Pseudo cyst of pancreas
3. Cancer
So you need CECT abdomen with pancreatic protocol to delineate the exact cause...so please meet your doctor and do the same.
