Emergency contraception and pregnancy
I am a 40 yr old woman . I had unprotected sexual intercourse on the the last day of my period 17 days back. I took emergency contraception pill ( I Pill) within 12 hours of unprotected sex. There was withdrawal bleeding 5 days after the consumption of the pill. I took a home pregnancy test today and it came out negative. Do I need to go in for a blood test to confirm the results of the home pregnancy test?
