Elevated serum Aldolase..
What would be the serum aldolase level in blood for a person who is suffering grm polymyositis. I have elevated level (18.2) normal is less than 8. Is this slightly elavated or very high? Please conform me. Am 26 yrs old. I have muscular pain. Please tell me whether the elevation is slight or high or too high. My Creatine Kinase level is normal.

serum aldolase level can increase if there is muscle or liver damage.i will suggest u to consult a neurologist or musculoskeletal specialist to make proper diagnosis by further investigation to diagnose n to give treatment.accordingly
