Elevated Liver Enzymes
Abnormal LFT reports on 19th may 2021 SGOT: 65u/l (normal value given below 50 for both SGOT &SGPT) SGPT: 96u/l ALP: 184u/l conjugated Bilirubin: 0.4 (normal: 0 to 0.2) Unconjugated bilirubin: 1.7( normal upto 1) Also, cholesterol (total) 192mg/dl Triglycerides 196 Usg Report: on 3rd june 2021 In liver section it is written 'Diffuse fatty change in liver parenchyma. Intra hepatic biliary channels are not dilated. Shape Position & margins are normal, liver measurement 12.7cm' Impression: 1.Hepatic Steatosis (grade 2) 2.No obvious thickening of Gb wall is seen. How severe it is? What medicine & lifestyle modification should I do? I have a pre employment medical examination within a month in METRO RAILWAY & SAIL(NON EXECUTIVE CADRE).. Will I be disqualified in pre employment medical exam??? After abnormal LFT , I consulted gastro enterlogist he prescribed udiliv 300mg daily twice, and asked me to do USG. But due to lockdown I was not able to show him the USG report.
