I had high uric acid(7.4) and doctor told me to take zyloric 300 for two weeks and then get the KFT done.
All values in KFT are well within the range.
I wanted to know if normal values could be because of allopurinol which otherwise could be higher.
Does allopurinol lower levels of other KFT parameters or its only uric acid levels that are reduced by it

Allopurinol normalises just uric acid levels and not kidney function
So normal function is not due to allopurinol .. it's actually because kidneys r functioning optimally
