I was adviced by my doctor to use duonase nasal spray for allergic rhinitis. As it is a corticosteroid nasal spray, can it have effects in the entire body? Or are they just topical nasal sprays? Will it reduce the immune system of the entire body like the oral steroids do?

Thanks for your question on Practo.
No need to worry for side effects of intranasal corticosteroid. They act locally in nose and have no side effects for rest of the body.
No need to worry for low immunity.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
