Effect of Accutane on liver?
I began taking the drug Accutane 5 or 6 months ago and haven't experienced any issues other than a dull ache in the side after drinking alcohol. I realize that it is alcohol causing this but I'm wondering if this is something I should be seriously worried about or if it's just a minor side effect? All the blood work I have had done at the dermo has come back fine.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. I wouldn't recommend you drink alcohol till you are taking the medicine because it can cause some side effects like redness on skin, rash, fast heart beat, fast breathing, nausea, vomiting sensation. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
