For any seizure or epilepsy detection, what is the time gap that the EEG test to be done from the date of the event ? My son had got high fever post which his behavior changed drastically. post 10 days we got the EEG test done to confirm any seizures due to high fever. The results turned out to be negative( no epilepsy or seizure). But I have a general question Will be he EEG test detect any abnormalities if done after 10 days ?
