Ecosprin 150 in pregnancy
My wife is 15 weeks pregnant and doc has suggested for ecosprin 150. She will be undergoing amniocentesis at 17 weeks due to high risk of genetic defect and also suggested to stop aspirin 2 days prior to amniocentesis. Is taking aspirin safe?

It’s absolutely safe and is a recommended treatment in certain high risk pregnancies As there is a chance of increased bleeding if she is on ecosprin during the amniocentesis, she will be asked to stop it for a few days which is absolutely fine
