Echogenic focus & dilated renal pelvis
I am 24 weeks pregnant now. Baby has a white spot in heart. And renal pelvis is slightly dialated. Rk 4.3mm and Lk 4.6mm. 1.Double Marker Test & NT scan and NIPT shows low risk. 2.Fetal Echo is done. And the report is good. What to expect. May there still be any problem in baby. ?

Echogenic intracardiac focus that like a bright white spot in the fetal heart that looks is due to a bit of calcium in papillary muscles of the heart valves.  It is usually not an abnormality and not associated with heart defects. But Downs syndrome needs to be ruled out. One may go for CVS to rule out Downs syndrome.
