Eating problem due to lower braces
Hi this is Smita Pathak. I've recently started a treatment at your clinic. The upper braces are fine. But the lower braces are a bit of a trouble for me as I can't eat because of something called Bite that's filled in my teeth to separate the jaws. And also the braces prick my skin. So please suggest me a solution for these problems..

Hello, The problem you r facing is very common in the initial days for starting the Braces in Upper or lower teeth.  I m sure there must be some amount of pain as well.  What u can do is,  ask for something called as RELIEF WAX from ur Orthodontist .  U can apply this wax over ur Braces which will smoothen the rough surface of the Braces and prevent it from pricking.  Regarding the bite.  Yes for that time is the only solution.  Usually the patient gets use to it within a week's time.  I understand it is very uncomfortable,  but it has to be done In some cases.  Regards
Next Steps
Go to ur Orthodontist and get the RELIEF WAX and if at all the ends are sharp,  get it trimmed.
