Early puberty boy
My just turned 8 year old ( autism/non verbal) son has started getting body odour and I noticed very few pubic hair also. I have thoroughly checked and there are NO other signs of puberty. He has always been tall and weighs around 30 kgs. Will this count as early puberty
Please help regarding what needs to be done. I will see his pediatrician soon.

Public hair indicates the onset of puberty and below 9 years is considered as early onset. But many other things have to be checked like genital size, other hair, muscle mass etc. Please visit your Pediatrician. Nothing to worry about. We cannot comment without physical check up
