I was taking OVRAL-L tablet and stopped 5 days back based on my doctor advice. Today I got my period. But it is only 16 days from my LMP. What may the reason ?

This is withdrawal bleeding due to sudden stoppage of Ovral L without completing the full course.
You will get your next period one month after this period (withdrawal bleeding).

After stopping the pill withdrawal bleeding will happen irrespective of LMP. There is nothing to worry. Subsequent cycles will be as previous
