Early Menopause
Can menopause happen by age 40. I have not had a period for past 3 months. I am not sexually active and am unmarried. What are the symptoms of menopause and what test should I do to find the reason for missing a period. Kindly advise.

Yes menopause occurring at an early age does happen... but since u got ur periods 3 months back this is not menopause... menopause is when u don't get ur periods for a period of 12 months.. get ur hormonal profile like TSH, PROLACTIN AND FSH... should get a clue for missing periods...
Next Steps
Get USG pelvis(can be done abdominally is patient is not sexually active) and hormonal profile- TSH, prolactin levels and FSH
