Early delivery
Dear sir /mam, I m 31 weeks pregnant. I m feeling frequent contractions which are mild painful. I went to doctor she said os is closed. so early labour chances are less right now. I have already given one shot of betnesol injection for lung maturation. If delivery happens around 32 or 33 weeks, how many days doctor need to keep baby in nicu?? and what are the chances of survival of baby?

A rough estimate is that the baby will be in the NICU for at least half of the time the baby has been born before term. Suppose the baby is born at 32 weeks (i.e 8 weeks before term) ,  then the baby may have to be in the NICU for up to 4 weeks .
